ArmChemFront will take place in Yerevan, Armenia, from August 25 to 29, 2013. This will be the first international chemistry symposium to be held in Armenia to cover chemistry as a broad field. The conference will be an excellent platform to exchange new ideas and to discuss recent developments in diverse aspects of chemistry, and will be comprised of the following themes: Catalysis/Total Synthesis/Methodology/Bioorganic Chemistry/Chemical Biology/Supramolecular chemistry/Materials chemistry.

Renowned plenary and keynote speakers will present overviews of recent developments. In addition to 12 plenary and 6 keynote lectures, the scientific program will be complemented by 30 contributed lectures as well as poster presentations. We especially encourage young chemists to use this unique opportunity to present their latest exciting results as oral and poster communications, to network and establish new contacts.

Mountainous landscapes with fast-flowing rivers form a stunning backdrop for the ancient history and cultural heritage of Armenia. The rich history of the country extends over 2700 years, and it was the first state to adopt Christianity as its official religion at the beginning of the 4th century. All of this makes Yerevan an attractive destination to host an exceptional scientific program, and provides for excellent opportunities for cultural and social experience.

The conference program will also include visiting several UNESCO World Heritage Sites:
Monastery of Geghard, founded in the 4th century
Mother Cathedral of Holy Echmiadzin, One of the oldest churches in the world (5th century)
7th Century Archaeological Site of Zvartnots.
