Chemistry Europe Announces Class of 2022/23 Fellows

Weinheim, Germany; March 7, 2024 — Chemistry Europe, an association of 16 chemical societies from 15 European countries, renowned for its publication of a family of high-quality scholarly chemistry journals and the magazine ChemistryViews, is pleased to announce its latest class of Fellows. The 2022/23 Class consists of 22 outstanding individuals. This distinguished group has been selected for their remarkable contributions to Chemistry Europe, embodying excellence in research, support, creativity and innovation, thus reflecting the breadth and depth of talent within Chemistry Europe.

The Fellows program, awarded biannually since 2015, honors outstanding members of the Chemistry Europe societies. It recognizes individuals whose impactful work enriches the field of chemistry and strengthens the collective efforts of Chemistry Europe.

Maria DUCA will be celebrated with her « classmates » at a special reception during the 9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress in Dublin in July 2024.

Chemistry Europe publishes 20 high-quality scientific chemistry journals covering a wide range of disciplines, including the flagship journal ChemistryEurope and the magazine ChemistryViews. It supports scientists at every stage of their careers. All of this is possible because of the many chemists in Europe and around the world who support Chemistry Europe in many ways. Past Chemistry Europe Fellows include Nobel Laureates Ben Feringa (The Netherlands), Jean-Marie Lehn (France), and Sir Fraser Stoddart (USA).
